TWO final year students at Holsworthy Primary School held a joint birthday disco recently — but asked for donations to their chosen charities instead of presents.

Throughout their school life, Izabel McHattie and Sophie Sleeman had asked their parents to organise a joint birthday for them. Their mothers had put them off, saying they would do it in their final year, thinking the girls would forget.
