A CAMELFORD mum of three has reached the finals of the national MS Society Awards.
Kirsty Ferguson is one of three finalists in the category of 'MS Fundraiser of the Year' and will attend the awards ceremony on Thursday, October 17, in London.
Kirsty, aged 38, was diagnosed with MS two years' ago and immediately thought of what she could do to help others living with the condition.
She is unable to work due to her symptoms, but over the last two years has campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness of MS in the local area by organising cake bakes, craft fairs, a naked calendar featuring local people and, more recently, a Valentine's Ball attended by over 150 people which raised over £3,000.
