CORNWALL Council are looking for local feedback on its preliminary designs for Launceston’s new ‘Service Hub’ on Exeter Street before planning permission is sought.

Comments to the online survey should be submitted by midnight on September 26.

A Cornwall Council spokesperson said: “As an organisation Cornwall Council are looking to do something different with the buildings we deliver services from. We want to create a single space for our customers to access multiple services and meet the needs of the local community.

“In Launceston we hope to create a space, called a Service Hub, where you can access the frontline services you need, when you need them. Services which will be available in the hub include the library, Adult Day Service, Registration Service, Family Service and Adult Education classes among others.

“We know that the needs of our communities, and the way in which they want to access our buildings have changed, and we want to change with them. You can find the plans on the right-hand side of this page.

“We would like your feedback on our proposals for your local community before we submit a planning application.”
