THE endeavours of a young couple who are building their own 'affordable' house near Chapmanswell will be the subject of an hour long programme on BBC2 — part of the 'The House that £100k Built' series.

Mary and Justin Barriball have been filmed for the past 18 months, from planning and digging the foundations to installing their kitchen units; and will feature in one of the episodes of the Wednesday evening series.

The film crew also attended and filmed Mary and Justin's wedding, at Ashwater, last September.

The building project is a real family affair, with Justin's father Guy, and his uncles and brothers involved in the building work.
