BUDE band 'Littermouth' said it has had an 'incredible' response to its new video and single 'Monkey', getting as many as 800 views a day on YouTube.

The band has also been inundated with responses from radio stations that want to play the song.

Monkey, which was released on Saturday, April 11, had more than 4,000 views within the first five days of release.

Littermouth fans have shared the video far and wide and the band and video are now getting 'likes' from Facebook users as far away as the USA, Italy and the Canary Islands.

Monkey, which is only available to the public via YouTube, was first played on North Devon's The Voice FM by DJ Olli Tooley, who liked it so much he played it twice on the same show and tweeted: "Brand new single from Littermouth is just superb. Has HIT written all over it."

Monkey was also sent out to independent radio stations all over the country. The band soon started receiving responses from local, national and worldwide coverage stations with comments like 'cracking track' and 'we're going ape over Monkey', along with details of when they would be playing the song.
