HOLSWORTHY Lions Club entertained around 115 guests in its annual senior citizens' entertainment event at Holsworthy Memorial Hall recently.

The club organises an annual event, either a pantomime visit or a lunch, for just after Christmas when the older generation can "need a bit of company".

Andy Townsend, club secretary, thought the event went "very well as usual".

Guests enjoyed a three course lunch of soup, roast beef and cheesecake with a musical entertainer performing a variety of songs that they could sing along to.
