THE skies remained dry for the Christmas lights switch-on at Camelford last Saturday.

Refreshments were served in the Methodist Church, where an exhibition of stars was taking place, a fireworks display lit up the dark skies above the twinkling lights and hundreds of residents turned out, singling along to carols played by Camelford Town Band around the Christmas tree.
