Two Lifton sisters were delighted to win 'Best of Breed' at the world's largest dog show last weekend with their Ibizan Hound 'Champion Catorce Verde JW Shon'. Launceston College students Tieryn (12) and Maria Clark (11) bred the Ibizan Hound, a Spanish sighthound breed, whose pet name is Nemo, which picked up the Crufts trophy on Sunday. Nemo was also Top Dog in Breed for 2007 and gained his champion title at Crufts 2007. Tieryn and Maria, who saved up their pocket money and birthday money in order to pay for the stud fee, are the youngest owner/breeders of a champion dog in the country.
