A FISHERMAN who was washed off rocks near Tintagel Head was rescued on Monday, December 31 by the volunteer crew of the Port Isaac RNLI inshore lifeboat.
It is believed the man, 36-years-old who was on holiday from Devon, had been in the water for up to an hour before he was found. With conditions too rough for him to be airlifted from the lifeboat, the crew volunteers took him in to Boscastle where he was then transported to hospital by land ambulance.
