MEMBER of the Bude and Holsworthy Macular Group, Mrs Seymour-Smith, was the first person to use the Holsworthy Library’s latest piece of equipment to aid visually impaired people.
The equipment was donated by Devon County Councillor Barry Parsons (Cons) who has close links with the macular group and realised this equipment would be an asset for all the visually impaired people of Holsworthy and surrounding area.
The equipment is conveniently available to use in the town’s library, making it accessible to all.
The equipment enabled Mrs Seymour-Smith to not only read books, but with the large screen also helped her to write letters and family birthday cards.
