AFTER almost 30 years of working at Holsworthy Library, Jean Frayne has retired.
However, she will still be seen returning to the library to use it from the other side of the desk. "You can't do without a library," said Jean.
Jean first started working at the library with casual hours and covered annual leave, she had always loved reading and felt comfortable in the library. Jean then worked her way up to be a permanent member of staff.
Her favourite part of working there had been seeing children grow up and come back to the library again, especially with their own families.
