'BETTER than Glastonbury' for its friendly atmosphere summed up the greatest house party in a field at Week St Mary last weekend, writes Amelia Chubb. The ninth Leopallooza saw thousands brave the elements on Friday for the three-day festival at the Wyldes — and a surprise appearance from Radiohead's Thom Yorke. A wealth of musical talent, including up and coming artists, performed over the three days. Crowds flocked to the main stage to see Friday's headliners Dry the River and Falmouth-band Brother & Bones and on Saturday, headliners Foxes and Fenech-Soler. The supporting stages Rook's Nest, the Treeline and new this year, Temple of Boom and O'Neill High Tide Acoustic Sessions, boasted an eclectic line-up, including DJ Godden, B-Side & Detta, Hong Kong Ping Pong and Aaron Fyfe.
