CAMELFORD Leisure Centre was a hive of activity with an extremely popular kids’ all day club throughout Easter, writes Helen Pusey.
The club ran from Monday, April 3 to Friday, April 14 and proved to be extremely successful.
Activity Leader, Liam Smith, said: “The children have been enjoying the whole days here, particularly the swimming, football and capture the flag.”
The days ran on Mondays and Wednesdays with supervised activities in the morning and pool fun in the afternoon, with a movie to round the day off.
Mr Smith added: “We normally round the day off with a film but as the children had been so enthusiastic we carried on with things like skate boarding and street surfing!”
Large numbers of children attended from Camelford and the surrounding areas. They only needed to bring a packed lunch and swim wear. The whole day’s fun costs £15.
