CAMELFORD’S Royal British Legion branch, following the recent annual meeting and the last branch meeting of 2015, has for the first time since reforming 15 years ago a full complement of elected branch officers and committee members.

The branch will see many new changes starting in the new year, with the move to a new meeting place with better parking and disabled access and the emphasis on social and comradeship playing a bigger part for members.

February 11 will see the first branch meeting of 2016 and will act as a recruitment evening for potential new members.

People do not have to be ex-forces to join, and are encouraged to go along and see what the branch has to offer, and enjoy a buffet supper.

The meeting will start at 7.30 pm in the Riverside Room at the Conservative Club, Camelford.
