INADEQUATE information signs and poor facilities at Launceston's HM Revenue & Customs Enquiry Centre have been criticised by a man who paid a visit to the town's branch last week.

When Alan Wilson of Gunnislake arrived at what he thought was the Launceston Enquiry Centre, he was surprised to find it had moved offices, but never expected the rigmarole he would have to go through in order to get some advice ahead of his retirement in July.

It took numerous attempts to find the new office located on Pennygillam Industrial Estate, due to poor directions given on a poster at the former site next to the driving test centre on Western Road, explained Mr Wilson.
