CHILDREN'S Hospice South West's (CHSW) Launceston Friends Group has welcomed a young new member — 14-year-old Millie Boardman.

Millie was keen to volunteer for the local charity and is starting her fundraising with a bang by organising a 'dance and crash' party for other youngsters.

The event will be held at Trethorne Leisure Park, Kennards House, on Saturday, September 29 and everyone attending the disco will get a free dodgem ride.
