At the recent District Convention of Lions Clubs International for clubs in the South West, the Lions Club of Launceston won the Travelling Lion trophy for the second year ­running. This is awarded for the most visits made by a club in the South West. This can be for visiting club meetings, attending club Charter Anniversary Dinners or by assisting with activities organised by the club.
