DAN Rogerson, the Liberal Democrat MP for North Cornwall, has welcomed two groups of young people from Launceston to Parliament this week.

On Tuesday, July 3, pupils from Launceston Community Primary School visited the Houses of Parliament, and on Thursday 5th it was the turn of students from Launceston College who saw the House of Commons in action whilst they were in London.

The groups from both schools enjoyed a tour of the Palace of Westminster, including a chance to see MPs at work in the House of Commons chamber, before taking part in education workshops about how Parliament works.
