THE Launceston Rotary Community Shop is doing very well and the Rotary Club is currently deciding how £9,000 worth of profits should be distributed among community organisations, charities and projects that have applied for funding.
This money has been raised since the new shop opened on April 23 and the Rotary Club would like to thank all the members of the public who have donated stock to the shop and who have come in as customers.
The Rotary Club also would like to thank Kivells Estate Agents and the shop owner for all their help and generosity, as well as the community volunteers who have assisted us in the shop.
There is, however, one major problem — the shop is running out of stock.
