LAUNCESTON Rotary Club has always enjoyed a good relationship with the town band, and when asked if it could assist with a donation, the Rotary Community Shop was pleased to assist.

The town band wanted financial help to engage a professional music instructor to teach youngsters coming into the band and allow members like Ann Brown to be involved with other things as well as teaching.

A cheque for £1,000 was recently presented.
