THE Rotary Club of Launceston has to announce that their shop in Southgate Street will be closing until they can find new premises.

The shop that they are presently using is being leased to a local company so the Rotary Community Shop's last day of trading will be on Saturday, October 1.

Their stock will then be placed into storage until another premises becomes available.

Rotary spokesman Peter Casey said: "We opened on August 1 and since then we have received tremendous support from the Launceston community and we have been able to make donations to a number of local organisations and more donations are planned, but without premises we cannot continue."
