RESIDENTS in the Woburn and Dunheved Fields parts of Launceston are up in arms, after learning Cornwall Council are looking to build new houses on amenity land in the area.
A selection of homeowners recently received a letter from Cornwall Council informing them of a pre-application proposing the development of five houses on a narrow piece of land opposite their properties.
They were astonished to learn that only a handful of people had received notification, despite they said, it affecting a far more widespread area.
