Jon Kift of Elite Personal Training is holding fitness classes for parents at St Stephens School, Launceston. The classes are held in the school hall every Monday morning between 9am and 10am. Mr Kift said the aim of the classes was to "promote healthier living in the community and what better place to start teaching than a school." He added: "Hopefully by educating parents it will filter down to the children. The healthier the community the less strain there is on the already over stretched NHS." Mr Kift said the classes, which cost just £1 to attend, were going very well.
