DAVEY Green of Launceston has hit another milestone after returning from the Lake District, where he successfully completed the 2021 Brathay 10in10 in 10th place overall, raising more than £5,000 for charity.

Ten days of finishing the Asics Windermere Marathon, the second toughest road marathon in the UK, took its toll and Davey suffered with recurring injuries yet he continued to soldier on and his quickest finish time was actually on day 10 which is when the race is incorporated with the annual Asics Windermere Marathon.

Davey has raised almost £5,000 for Brathay Trust and people can still donate towards his cause on www.justgiving.com/davey2021

Davey said he is now resting up but is already considering the options for his next adventure.
