The Launceston Ambulance crew received another batch of ‘Trauma Teds’ recently from the Launceston Lions.
These are given to young children in distress and act as a comfort and a distraction therapy.
They are also given to the fire and police services and to the local care homes for their dementia patients, who love to cuddle them.
A spokesperson from the Lions said: “Members of Launceston Lions thank all knitters who make these items for such good causes.”
