THE Launceston in Bloom Association recently held a meeting at which they discussed the proposals for a mixed use development, including a Morrisons store, south of the Link Road.

The group believe the development, if approved, would have "an enormous detrimental effect on the green space" which provides an area of outstanding natural beauty.
