WITH this year's Launceston Half Marathon and family fun run only two weeks away, Sunday July 5, race preparation are well underway for the race organisers 'Kernow Runners.'

Race entries are being received every day and are filling fast, with the race limit being 350.

The half marathon will as usual start at 10.30am from the leisure centre car park, and take the runners of all standards, out on the well renowned tough 13.1 mile course. The course is fondly known as the 'Real Beast of Cornwall' but every year runners of all abilities return to take the beast on, and most being successful.

The winner will be expected to return at approx 11.40 am to claim his/her prizes.

All finishers will receive race medals and t-shirts, as well as other goodies from race sponsors and supporters. Entry fees are £10.00 for club runners and £12.00 for non-club runners.
