AS AN increasing number of families in need turn to foodbanks for help, shoppers at Tesco Launceston, were asked to donate non-perishable food items to the town's Foodbank on Saturday, September 8.
In recent years, Foodbanks have become a simple and effective way for local communities to help those most in need by providing three days emergency food to those families struggling to make ends meet.
With Foodbanks busier than ever, the charity is grateful to local people for giving generously.
