BETWEEN 500 and 1,000 people braved the wet and blustery conditions to march through Falmouth on Sunday, April 29 in protest at the recently introduced pasty tax.
The event was organised and compered by comedian Kernow King, and thanks were offered to him and all who helped on the day.
The march was led by the Falmouth Marine Band after a send off by the Deputy Grand Bard of Cornwall.
Cornwall Councillor for Launceston Central Alex Folkes was in attendance and (above) delivered a empassioned speech to the masses — received as vociferously as it was delivered — urging people to pledge their support to overturning the government's decision to introduce the tax.
