AMBER Sleeman, a student from Launceston College, held a meal at Tresmeer Village Hall last Saturday to raise funds towards the cost of a trip to visit Tanzania, with 'Camps International' in July for four weeks. A total of 35 people attended, and half way through the evening Amber gave a brief but interesting talk on what she will be doing there and hoping to achieve for herself as well as for others. Amber has to raise £3,000 for the trip and so far has raised and paid £2,000. The evening raised £240 and Amber wishes to thank all those that attended, helped and made the evening possible. Other fund raising events are planned. If you would like to give a donation please send to Amber Sleeman, Sycamore Farm, Tresmeer, Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 8QT.
