SERVING up a storm, pupils from Launceston College’s Sixth Form will get the chance to experience life in the kitchen when they open up their own restaurant.

The college’s restaurant ‘Inspired’ will open for the first time on Wednesday, November 30, with a Christmas menu, and will provide customers with a three course meal all prepared by NVQ Professional Cookery sixth form students.

The project will see pupils running the real life restaurant for paying customers.

All money raised from this venture will be reinvested into the restaurant to buy supplies such as equipment and specialist ingredients allowing the pupils’ learning to reach a higher level.
