THE Launceston Cancer Research UK committee and helpers held their annual coffee morning at the White Hart Hotel on Saturday, November 4.

The chairman, Maureen Ryder Gordon, thanked all the supporters who kept the stall holders busy with serving Christmas cards, local produce and home cookery.
The top two prizes in the raffle — the chicken dinner and a basket of fruit — were won by Maureen Ryder Gordon and Jane Nancarrow.
The amount raised to date is £658.11.
