ELMSLEA Care Home in Launceston, presented a fun variety performance to friends, VIPS and guests recently.

It first started with a beetle drive and a small production, but it has now grown to a variety performance held each year, whereby "everyone makes fools of themselves," revealed Irene Stanbury owner of the home.

Food is enjoyed and all the residents are keen to take part in some way.

The opening scene 'The Muppets' prompted roars of laughter to 'My Brother' which was acted out by Irene and Poppy Dawe.

The residents presented 'The Three Little Pigs' puppet show which were made by the puppeteers.

The audience was included with golden oldies which were led by the Elmslea Emmets skiffle group. Other acts included furniture removal by Fred and co, 'Right said Fred' and renovations when 'Father papered the parlour'.
