LAUNCESTON and Camelford's separate 'One Stop Shops' are to go and be re-located in the two towns' libraries.

But, the councillor for Launceston Central says the decision has not taken into account the difficulty many people have in accessing Launceston Library, which is in Bounsalls Lane, up a hill from Madford Lane.

The councillor, Alex Folkes, a Liberal Democrat, commented: "I understand the need to save money and re-locating the One Stop Shop will ensure that the service stays open at a time when the Conservative-led administration in Truro is cutting other front line services."
