Camelford 4
Ivybridge Town 2
CAMELFORD bounced back from three consecutive losses by beating Ivybridge at Trefrew Park.
Despite the Bridgers starting the better, it was the home side who took the lead when winger Josh Penrose teed up his Cornwall under 18s team-mate Joe Adkins to fire home.
Town were level before the break as Nick Aplin fired in after Steve Sutton’s cross deceived the keeper.
Camelford started the second-half in the ascendency and regained the lead when Adkins touched in Bobby Hopkinson’s free-kick although Ivybridge again hit back through Sutton’s lobbed finish.
Adkins turned provider for Andy Boxall to make it 3-2 and the game was finally made safe when Josh Insley fired in a late penalty.
Launceston 2
Cullompton Rangers 0
AFTER failing to derail Bodmin’s title challenge at Pennygillam last Wednesday night, Launceston gave themselves a chance of a top-ten finish with a routine victory over ninth-placed Cullompton.
After a quiet opening half-hour, the Clarets took the lead when Sam Davey slotted in after beeing teed up by Ruben Kane.
And it didn’t take long for Gary Jeffery’s side to double their advantage as Callum Martindale’s left-wing cross was headed home by Scott Blatchford.
The second-half was all about maintaining their lead, which they did with ease in the end.
Launceston play three games over the course of this week to end a solid campaign.
Division One (West)
Wendron United 4
Holsworthy 3
HOLSWORTHY?were involved in their second consecutive high-scoring thriller but this time came away with nothing for their efforts at Underlane.
Holsworthy to Wendron is a long way, however you could have been forgiven for thinking that Liam Dart’s men were still on the coach as Charlie Clarke setup Callum Heath and Adam Peters put them two goals up in no time.
The Magpies did pull one back through Paul Banks before the interval although United’s two-goal cushion was restored when Peters fired in his second of the afternoon.
At 3-1 down, Holsworthy started to wake up and dramatically levelled through Dart and Banks’ second of the game.
But with just seconds to play, the Devon side were left to rue a lack in concentration as Tom Langford fired home to give Wendron a chance of finishing in the top-half. Holsworthy remain fourth bottom but under no threat of relegation.

Callington Town 1
Pensilva 0
BEN?Langton scored a stunning 89th minute winner to give Callington all three points in the local derby with Pensilva at Marshfield Parc and maintain their push for the runners-up spot.
The visitors, who won the East Cornwall Premier League cup recently are in mid-table put up an excellent performance throughout and were left aggrieved by top-scorer Sam Rogers’ dismissal early in the second-half for a second yellow-card.
Although Callington passed up a number of chances, Langton’s 25-yard thunderbolt ensured the bragging rights stayed with the second-placed side.
St?Teath 2
Plymstock United 3
ST?TEATH?were left cursing their luck once more as fourth-placed Plymstock launched a stunning comeback.
The home side have only won once all season and looked set to double their points tally as Darren Burden’s penalty and Craig Stollery put them firmly in the box seat after 20 minutes.
However, Plymstock took advantage of some slack defending as Adrian Kellywell (2) and Jack Wilkinson ensured the points went back over the Tamar Bridge.
