Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society's latest production, the pantomime 'Babes in the Wood' opened for its two-week run on Monday — and is set to be one of the town's funniest and most colourful pantos for years.

Directed by Phil Barfett — and what Phil does not know about pantomimes is not worth knowing — the show brings together many HATS regulars plus some new talent stepping into the limelight for the first time.

The traditional tale has many surprises and as usual the costumes and sets are amazing.

The show runs until February 7 from Monday to Saturday eveings at 7.30pm with matinees on the Saturday at 2.30pm.

Tickets are still available from the theatre box office or by ringing 01409 253826 on weekdays between 10am and 3pm.
