THE Camelford Community Larder is appealing for donations of different food items ahead of Christmas.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of the community, the team at the Larder were able to help many families in Camelford at Christmas, with packs of food and supplies. Having already received contact from ten families in the area, the team hopes that once again the generosity of their community will come to light and ask for donations of the following items: stuffing; sauces (jars/packets); gravy granules; mixed herbs; drinks (non-alcoholic); vegetables (fresh or tinned); fruit (fresh or tinned); mince pies, Christmas puddings and custard; mustard; Yorkshire pudding mix; sweet treats; selection boxes; biscuits; crisps; tinned meat and pies; soups; eggs; cream crackers; pate; jelly; cooking oil; UHT milk; sugar or sweeteners; toiletries; socks; pet treats; a small gift; crackers; tin openers; blankets.
Trina White from Camelford Community Larder said: “Last Christmas we managed to help out many, thanks to your kind donations.
“This is just a guide, we will be using funds to top up what we don’t receive so we don’t have to turn anyone away. Anything is gratefully received.”
Donations can be dropped at 15 High Street, Camelford and 10 Valley Truckle (opposite Camelot Garage).
