PEOPLE who live and work in the Launceston area are being invited to apply for a reduced price season ticket to use in the town's Cattle Market Car Park as part of a new trial being run by Cornwall Council.

The aim of the trial, which was agreed following discussions between council officers and local members in July, is to see whether reducing the charges for season tickets will encourage more people to buy a permit to use the car park.

The reduced price season tickets are now available for local people to buy until October 31 at a cost of £200 (originally £470).
