THREE Texel cross ewe lambs were born at Millcroft Farm, Newmills on Christmas Eve.

Les Parish, along with his son David, daughter-in-law Jo and David and Jo’s daughter Dotty, saw the lambs born by a Texel cross Charollais just before 3pm.

Les said: “It was a great present on Christmas Eve, we farm sheep, pigs and cattle. We like to lamb around Christmas time as I have a bit of time off from my part-time job with Kivells. It works really well.”
