AFTER 46 years of loyal service with Launceston St John Ambulance, Mrs Muriel Jury has finally decided it is time to take things a little more quietly and has retired as cadet treasurer.
Muriel has been treasurer of Launceston Cadets for 45 of those 46 years in St John Service.
"She is held in great esteem from the commander down to our youngest badger," said superintendent Tony Taplin. "We will all miss her. She has always run a 'tight ship' and kept everything in perfect order."
