A RANGE of famous songs from highly acclaimed musicals were compiled for Launceston's very own 'Musicality' recently, writes Amelia Chubb.
This was the latest production by Launceston Amateur Dramatic Society (LADS) and what a magical performance it was.
Director Rachel McAlonan first had the idea to put on the show a few years ago and despite the hard work, she said "it has been worth all the blood sweat and tears".
Classic scenes were depicted using song and dance and, not forgetting, innovative projection for the scenes, instead of painted backdrops.
An all cast performance of 'At the End of the Day' from Les Miserables opened the show, before a strong solo of 'Castle on a Cloud' from Laura Soddy.
