FOUR ladies from Coads Green Primary School took part in the 20th London Moonwalk on Saturday, May 13, to help raise money for Walk the Walk.
Walk the Walk is a grant making charity that supports and develops research, not only into the causes of breast cancer, but also identifying cancer genes and consequently improving treatments.
Team CG — Claire, Carys, Emma and Emma — joined 15,000 women and men wearing decorated bras, laden with fringing and feathers as they completed the 26.2-mile roaring twenties themed event.
Over the last couple of months, the team has worked hard to organise events, including a keep-fit class, community breakfast and family fun quiz, in order to raise funds to support this worthwhile charity.
With a target of £1,000, the team is delighted to have exceeded the total. Donations can still be made via moonwalklondon2017.everydayhero.com/uk/claire-49
