The 51st Annual General Meeting of the Holsworthy Memorial Hall Co Ltd was held in the hall on Tuesday evening, June 10, writes Christine Williams, our Holsworthy correspondent. In a review of the hall's first year since refurbishment acting chairman Arthur Wright said it had been a learning year to find out which were the most popular events. There had been a variety of bookings with a range of artists and musicians. The films had been well attended and the hall had acquired a reputation as a top class venue for ­ business meetings. He thanked the committee for their hard work as well as the cleaners. "All who visit admire the building. I'm sure it will go from strength to strength," he concluded.
