KIVELLS Auctioneers are delighted to announce that they have helped raise over £100,000 during 2015 for local charities and good causes.

During the year, Kivells have sold at charity auctions from Penzance to Cardiff and auctioning anything from an ‘around the world cruise’ to a ‘cream tea for two’.

Harvest festival sales are always popular and this year saw 32 successfully completed. The highest total raised at one harvest event was at the Rod and Line pub at Tideford, Saltash where more than £9,000 was raised in aid of the Children’s Hospice, Cornwall.

Other events included the Western Morning News Awards dinner that raised more than £5,000. Torrington Farmers’ Hunt Gift Auction that raised in excess of £10,000 and over £2,000 for the Chivenor Military Wives Choir evening at Penstowe Manor.

Director of Kivells Mark Bromell said: “We are always pleased to help within the community and this year we have been able to help many local and farming charities from all four of our livestock market teams based throughout the West Country.”
