TREKNOW childminder, Kim Climo, took the children back in time at Tintagel Castle recently.

After 22 years of childminding and 114 children cared for, she aspires to create new, exciting and engaging projects to fulfil the age range of children learning through on-going play.

A recent 'King Arthur' exercise at Tintagel Castle was a firm favourite with the children. This project covered all the 'three prime areas of learning': Personal, social and emotional development; physical development; and, communication and language.

The children made crowns and swords, coloured pictures of King Arthur sitting on his throne and enjoyed playing in the large cardboard box castle and re-enacting the story with dressing up clothes.
