AFTER the previous week's conditions it was good to see the sun although Lamb Park was a little heavy in places.

Kilk started well keeping the ball for long periods and with the midfield of Karen Goodenough and Yvette Parfett dominating they switched the ball from left to right to release Kilk's speedy wingers Katherine Bryant and Victoria Lowe.

Although the front two Leanne Clayton and Vicky Gomm tested the 'keeper they failed to find the net.

Against the run of play Bodmin unlocked Kilk's defence with a clever ball through and Emily Field calmly slotted home.
