FOREST View Primary School pupils had the chance to shine during their final showcase day of the year.
The show followed three others which have taken place this year, and gave parents and the community the chance to watch parades, dance demonstrations as well as stroll around stalls that had all been set up and organised by the children.
There were also fete-style stalls run by the school's parent teacher association (PTA) and this year children and parents could 'soak the teacher/head teacher' with sponges.
Headteacher Ben Lyons said: "Pupils took great pleasure in soaking me in particular. There was a staff rota, so the majority of teachers and many teaching assistants did a 10-minute stint. It was very welcoming on such a hot afternoon.
"The showcase was a tremendous success with pupils showing great pride in sharing their work with their parents and wider families. The day gave children a real purpose to their learning and it was a fantastic way to finish such a successful year at Forest View following our extremely positive Ofsted inspection and end of year results."
