I AM writing this letter to your newspaper to say how impressed I am with your new columnist; I have been following his column for several weeks now and find it a pleasure to read.

I actually look forward to reading his views on current topics, his awareness and balance of views that much older people do not have is commendable. I thought last week's column of 'Jade' was very poignant and very true.

So please keep it up Joe.
