I REFER to the letter about the play area plans at Crooklets Beach, Bude (from Es and Joan Rand, the 'Post' November 20).

Hear! Hear! I note on the planning application that it refers to the current use of the area in question as 'informal'. I vote for 'informal' on and around the beach every time. Please, just leave it alone.
