THE Junior Park Ranger (JPR) scheme has been running for nearly two years in Bude and aims to encourage young people to take responsibility for their local area.
JPRs have been taking care of their communal areas at Broadclose with the support of Cornwall Council Street Rangers, Denise Taylor and Rodney Hancock.
Key to the success has been the involvement of local residents, Berni Mclaughlin and Heather Jones, who supervise the young volunteers that are aged between six and 16-years-old.
